Yoga
Light (8
wks, 1 hr/wk, $70)
New!
This gentle class is designed for students who want to
stretch, strengthen, and relax, without overdoing it. Also
perfect for beginners.
To bring: A mat if you have one and a blanket for final
relaxation.
At AHS’s Old Gym. Begins Tues,
13 January 2009, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Yoga
Advancing (8
wks, 1 hr/wk, $70)
A yoga
class for students with previous yoga experience. We won’t
be doing headstands, but we will be exploring more
challenging yoga sequences.
To bring: A mat if you have one and a blanket for final
relaxation.
At AHS’s Old Gym. Begins Tues,
13 January 2009, 7:45 to 8:45 p.m.
Morning Tai
Chi (8 wks,
1 hr/wk, $70. Over 65? Seniors’ rate is $62.)
We’ll
rejuvenate and invigorate with gentle short tai chi/qigong
sets that are designed to boost energy and lubricate
joints. Great for improving strength and flexibility, while
clearing and calming the mind. For beginning and continuing
students.
To bring: Indoor shoes.
At the
United Church. Begins Wed, 14 January 2009, 11 to 12 noon.
Drop in fee
is $12 per class. Senior’s Tai Chi drop in fee is
$10.
